Firm Defeats Preliminary Injunction in New York District Court

Wilenchik and Bartness defeated a request for preliminary injunction in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York on the grounds that the request was overbroad.  The plaintiffs had sought a preliminary injunction to prevent our client from encumbering or transferring equity in any of his businesses. The court agreed that the request was beyond the court's power and denied it, leaving our client free to manage his business.
